HOW WE WORK

Useful instructions. Clear limits.

Our guides explain tasks you can reproduce with the tools. Examples are teaching aids, not guarantees about another website, lender or employer.

Examples you can follow

Tool guides describe the inputs, settings and expected result. Mathematical examples state their assumptions. File sizes depend on image detail and browser encoding; illustrative examples do not promise a particular compression result for your file.

Testing the tools

Checks cover processing logic, invalid inputs, exports and page links. Browser checks exercise all 20 tools with sample inputs, inspect downloaded images and PDF page counts, and check layout at a phone-sized viewport. This does not mean every device, browser or possible file has been tested.

Sources and commercial links

Product specifications are attributed to the manufacturer and distinguished from hands-on tests. Check the linked source for changes before making a purchase. Approved affiliate links, if introduced, are labelled; see the affiliate disclosure.

Writing and review

Content and code may be developed with AI assistance. Examples still need to match the tool’s behavior, and automated checks do not replace judgment. We do not present generated experiences as customer testimonials or invent reviewer qualifications.

Calculator and resume limits

Financial projections use the printed assumptions and exclude items such as tax and variable rates unless stated. Resume comparison measures selected words, not employability. Use the original application instructions or agreement when making decisions.

Corrections

If an instruction does not match the tool or a source has changed, use the contact and corrections page. Include the relevant page and the evidence needed to reproduce or understand the issue.
