IMAGE CLEANUP
Watermark remover
Select a small area and blend it with surrounding colours. Your image stays on this device.
Choose an image to begin.
Drag a rectangle around the watermark or enter its position below. Leave a little clean background around it.
Copy a clean patch of the same size. Alt-click the image to set its top-left corner, or use these fields.
Best for small marks on plain backgrounds. Smooth fill blends clean edges; Clone patch copies a source area you choose. Neither reconstructs hidden text or faces. PNG exports keep the original dimensions.
Clean up small marks on plain backgrounds
Choose a photo and draw a rectangle around the mark you want to remove. You can also enter the left position, top position, width and height in pixels. A narrow selection with clean background around it gives the fill useful colours to work with.
Smooth fill blends colours from the four sides of your selection and preserves gradual colour changes. Clone patch copies a clean area you choose, with adjustable edge softness. It works best on simple backgrounds and does not recover the original content hidden beneath a watermark. Detailed patterns, faces and lettering may appear blurred. Work on one small area at a time and compare before downloading.

A practical example
A small date stamp on a plain wall can be covered using the surrounding wall colours. Select just beyond the stamp so the fill samples clean pixels.
Before you finish
Inspect the result at full size. Use Undo or Reset if the fill looks unnatural; complex textures cannot be recovered by this tool.
Frequently asked questions
Does this use AI reconstruction?
No. It uses a local boundary-colour fill. It cannot recreate hidden objects or guarantee seamless results on textured backgrounds.
Will my photo be uploaded?
No. JPG, PNG and WebP images are processed in your browser. The exported PNG keeps the original pixel dimensions. Files are limited to 20 MB and 16 megapixels.
Can I undo an edit?
Undo restores the previous removal; Reset restores the original image. Download before leaving the page. Keep selections inside the image edges and below a quarter of its area.
